5 Adorable Things Your Dog Will Do in 2018

January 1, 2018
Happy New Year! It’s hard to believe, but we are already bidding farewell to 2017, and moving on into 2018. This week, many people will be focused on predicting what the next 12 months will bring. We’re more than happy to leave most of these forecasts to others, but we can offer an educated guess on what some of our canine pals will be doing. In this article from Westside Animal Hospital, a Savannah, GA vet lists some things that your dog will do this year.

Look Innocent

Dogs are both playful and mischievous. Fido may very well indulge himself in a bad doggy behavior this year. For instance, he may get into the trash, or chew on your shoes. Chances are, when your furry friend realizes he’s been busted, he’ll put on an absolutely adorable look of innocence.

Have A Little Fun

While it’s normal for dogs to slow down as they age, even senior pooches have bursts of playful energy. Take time to play with your furry pal regularly! Even a few minutes of running or playing will be beneficial to Fido. Plus, it will be fun for you, too!

Do Happy Dances

Our canine companions are very loyal and faithful, and are extremely dedicated to their owners. One of the cutest things about Fido is the fact that he’s always so thrilled to see his human buddies. Your devoted pooch will be waiting to greet you with excited tail wags and joyful jumps when you get home.

Work On Begging Skills

If there’s one thing dogs are always enthusiastic about, it’s food. Man’s Best Friend is very, very good at convincing us to fork over yummy tidbits! Fido may try to perfect his acting skills this year, and make it even harder for you to resist those adorable puppy-dog eyes. (Feel free to indulge your pet with tasty treats, but don’t go overboard with fatty snacks.)

Be Loyal

Dogs are truly amazing animals. Fido is extremely loyal to his human pals, and will stay by your side no matter what. Spend some quality time with your furry best friend this year, and pay lots of attention to him. Please contact us, your local Savannah, GA pet hospital, for all your dog’s veterinary care needs. We look forward to providing your pet with excellent care in 2018 and beyond!
