Cat furniture can also be helpful in keeping Fluffy fit and healthy. Choose pieces that encourage your furry friend to run and jump. Cat towers are great for this!

Portion Control

It’s very easy to accidentally overfeed a cat, especially when said cat is begging for you to fill her bowl again. Pay close attention to Fluffy’s portions. Even giving your furball ten extra calories a day can cause her to gain a pound a year. That’s a lot for a kitty! Ask your vet for specific advice on serving sizes.

Resist The Meow

Cats are adorable, and it’s probably safe to say they know it. Many of our feline friends have their owners trained to feed them on demand. We know, it’s hard to resist that furry face. Limit Treats

Treats are a great way to get Fluffy’s little motor going. However, you aren’t doing your cute pet any favors by overfeeding her. Choose healthy snacks, and be careful not to go overboard.
